Does Starvation Diet Work?

The starvation diet is becoming increasingly popular because the logic behind weight loss is the less you eat, the faster you'll lose weight. But there are still many people who have doubts about this diet, this is why the question "does starvation diet work?" is still being raised in weight loss forums. The starvation diet is a weight loss fad and can help you achieve weight loss only temporarily but unfortunately it can get to a point of depriving yourself from food for long periods of time or eating so little, causing your body more harm than good in long run. Starving yourself is bad for losing weight plain and simple. What most people following a weight loss program don't know is you can still eat several meals a day and still lose weight. Subsequently, you will ingurgitate an excess of calories and you will gain weight. So you did all this for nothing and back to square one.

To lose weight, you can easily eat 4-6 times a day but focus more on foods which are filling, nutritious but low in calories. Examples include sweet potatoes, yams, fish, skinless chicken/turkey breast, eggs, beans, wholegrain oats, apples, blueberries, broccoli, asparagus etc… This is the ultimate way to lose weight safely and healthily. Don't worry about the number of meals. You don't need to eat a lot per meal, just in small quantities as these foods can easily keep you satiated for long. You need to have a balanced diet, you can't rely on a specific food group only.
